Alumaflex®

Alumaflex is manufactured in the UK and is tested by a UKAS accreditation body. It’s a thin and highly efficient multifoil insulation designed to help reduce energy costs and save on space whilst meeting the thermal requirements of Building Regulations. It helps improve airtightness compared with other forms of insulation. It reduces waste, dust and cold-bridging.

  • Acts as an effective vapour barrier
  • Can be used in conjunction with other forms of insulation
  • Retains heat during winter and reflects heat in summer preventing over-heating warm spaces

Loft Lining - KO Rubershield Eco Extra

IKO Rubershield Eco Extra is a 120g/m2 Type LR Breathable Membrane conforming to the requirements of BS5534:2014 when installed within a ventilated cold pitched roof construction. It is BBA approved* for use within cold and warm Unventilated Pitched Roof Construction and for use within Vertical Application.

  • Breather membrane – Breathable; allows the passage of harmful water vapour
  • Weather resistant; acts as a secondary barrier to liquid water, wind driven snow and debris
  • Effective temporary weathering protection

Yes, we offer 3 types and 2 will keep the dust off items stored in your loft. We offer a breathable liner, a foil liner and a quilted liner.
No, we recommend addressing the condensation build-up before adding any lining to the roof. This is due to reducing airflow if the liner is fitted and potentially making it worse. There are a number of ways to help with this issue, which we’ll be happy to explain when we visit.
Yes, we offer a foil or a quilted liner that is very thermally efficient and will offer increased comfort during the hotter and colder months.
