A fall from the hatch can be further than you think. Avoiding awkward manoeuvres and a lack of support can make increase hazards.
We provide both wooden or metal loft balustrades, and steel grab rails to improve safety around the hatch.
We can develop a range of options bespoke to your hatch and its surroundings, even in the tightest of spaces.

Our installation team arrive on the day and begin your new energy saving installation – The team are incredibly conscious of working in your home and will lay dust sheets throughout the working area to minimise any dust or debris collecting (The team are fully Covid 19 compliant at all times)

Enjoy Your New Loft Space

After just a few hours of work, your new loft boarding will be installed and waiting for you to store all your belongings secure and safe from the elements.

Types Of Loft Balustrades

Choose from 3 handy balustrade & grab rail options to help make accessing your loft easier.

Steel Grab Rails

A Grab rail is a great alternative to the balustrade and provides a strong rail to help pull yourself into the loft. The Grab Rail is a simple yet very effective balance rail, that gives support when entering and exiting the loft. It is made from 22 mm steel tubular and it is especially effective when carrying items.

Custom Balustrades & Hand Rails

Our Custom Timber Balustrades look great and are designed to fit your exact needs. Sometimes a larger balustrade or handrail surround isn’t required, that’s when we design one that suits your needs better.

Steel Loft Balustrades

Our Steel Loft Ladder Balustrades are very firm and rigid and provide a safe sturdy surround to your loft. The Loft Surround rail is 1m high around three sides of the ladder opening so it provides extra security and safety for you. The Surround Rail can fit most loft hatch openings – The width is adjustable going from 500mm to 750mm.
